Water spread throughout this home quickly after a supply line broke in the laundry room and water flooded multiple rooms. The carpet and drywall was affected by the water. 

The migration is helped by the building materials that soak up the water quickly, such as carpet pad and drywall.

When SERVPRO arrived, we removed the bulk of the water using a high-powered extractor. We arrange the air movers in a room or hall in a way to allow for the most evaporation to happen. While we want evaporation, we don’t want humidity. Each area needs to have a dehumidifier close to remove the humidity from the air.
